OILUX OLEOPHOBIAL ANTI-RFLECTION TREATMENT responds best to mechanical stresses and environmental contacts with the world around us. Weathering, temperature, light, humidity, perspiration, dynamics, shocks, cleaning and maintenance are a few examples of the stresses to which lenses are subjected in everyday life, posing a threat, often invisible, to the durability of treated lenses.

Roman Optica's OILUX Treatment allows the Optician-Optometrist to recommend the best choice to their client, a solution that improves the visual performance of the ophthalmic lens while greatly increasing its performance and durability.

The Properties

The Features

Production takes place through state-of-the-art high vacuum machinery. Inside the Quality Control department, our specialized technicians constantly subject the processed lenses to technical inspections, following well-established protocols and laboratory tests that simulate reality.

The Hardening treatment , combined with the Anti-reflective treatment, ensures a transparent lens for the wearer that is resistant to bumps and scratches.

The outer layer, which has hydrophobic properties, is able to resist contamination by external agents, decreasing the need to clean the glasses.
