Roman Optica has been pursuing the goal of designing and building specialty ophthalmic lenses for 60 years.
Our History
Founded in 1965 in Rome by Mr. Romano Angelini, Roman Optica represents one of the most dynamic historical realities in the panorama of the Italian Optical Sector.
The company has always stood out for its special attention to detail in the processing of prescription-built lenses and in the implementation of surface treatments, coloring and fittings.
The goal
Established by its founder with theaim of designing and manufacturing specialty ophthalmic lenses, thanks to a strong entrepreneurial sense, Roman Optica has undergone a gradual transformation, moving from a predominantly artisan configuration to a new reality capable of managing the sale and distribution of products throughout the country.
The historic headquarters, in which Commercial, Administrative and Order Receiving activities are carried out, was joined in 1995 by a production plant south of Rome, in the Santa Palomba-Pomezia industrial hub, in which the Research and Development Center and Technical Offices reside and where all processing is carried out.
