MIDO 2023: the most important event dedicated to the eyewear sector

There are less than a week to go until the next edition of the MIDO Eyewear Show, the International Exhibition of Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology, which has been held in Milan since 1970 and is the world’s most important international showcase for eyewear.

This year there will be just over 1,000 exhibitors, including Roman Optica, expected at the next edition which will open on Saturday 4 February at the Fiera Milano in Rho. The exhibiting companies come from all over the world, and represent the entire supply chain of the eyewear sector.

The role of the Milanese event goes beyond the purely commercial aspect because MIDO represents an unmissable opportunity for debate, reflection, training, exchange and sharing designed and aimed at opticians from all over the world.

Roman Optica, one of the exhibitors at MIDO 2023

Since 1965, Roman Optica has been one of the most dynamic historical realities in the panorama of the Italian Optical Sector.

Also this year the Company will be among the exhibitors at MIDO 2023 (Hall 3 LENSES Stand F15), and will present two new products: Progressive Infinite and Autocolor Dark. An edition in the name of internationality and sustainability during which all the players in the sector will be able to make commercial agreements and do business, but also discover previews of the entire sector.

The company has distinguished itself for years for the particular attention to detail in the processing of lenses built on prescription and in the realization of surface treatments, colors and mounting.

Roman Optica has undergone a progressive transformation, moving from a predominantly artisan configuration to a new reality capable of managing the sale and distribution of products throughout the country. In 1995, a production plant was added to the historic headquarters in the industrial hub of Santa Palomba-Pomezia, where the Research and Development Center and the Technical Offices are located and where all the processes are carried out.

What will be the events in the Otticlub space?
